Vision and challenge

From our inception we have been motivated by Ephesians 4:11-12,

  “He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.”
 
 This passage of Scripture inspired the slogan, “building lives and transforming communities”, which summarizes the mission and vision of Spoken Word Ministries.
 
 We are passionate about seeing individual lives connecting with Christ and being empowered by the Holy Spirit,  equipped to fulfill their God given purpose. We believe as the church stays committed to serving God, there will be no end to the number of lives touched and the number of communities that will be transformed in Washington and beyond.
 
 The words “building lives” encapsulate so many of our ministries;  from worship services to training courses, whilst the words “transforming communities” denotes the church’s involvement in outreach locally and globally.
 
 Spoken Word Ministries is committed to playing a vital role as a significant part of the Body of Christ in positively impacting Washington and beyond for Christ.
